About DCS Philanthropic Partners
Doug Seaberg, Founder and Principal
Doug Seaberg brings nearly four decades of frontline and leadership experience guiding fundraisers and institutions toward advancement programs built on authentic, curiosity-driven philanthropic partnerships, informed by disciplined, metrics-based strategy.
As both a practitioner and advisor, Doug has worked alongside frontline fundraisers and senior advancement leaders to strengthen donor relationships, shape strategy, and elevate philanthropic impact across diverse institutional contexts.
Why I believe in this work
For nearly 40 years, I have been privileged to help donors and institutions discover shared purpose through meaningful philanthropic partnerships. Throughout my career, curiosity has been the catalyst—an authentic desire to understand people, their stories, their values, and what brings them joy in giving.
That curiosity opens the door to deeper alignment with institutional mission, allowing donors and institutions to co-create philanthropic opportunities that are meaningful not only to the donor and the organization, but to the people and values they ultimately serve.
Today, as a coach and strategic advisor, I bring that same curiosity-driven approach—anchored in the Partnership Journey model—to help frontline fundraisers and advancement leaders deepen relationships, strengthen strategy, and build lasting philanthropic impact.
